The author does a good job of providing an overview of Paul Revere's life including the important role he played in the revolution (not just the one famous ride), and his life before and after the war.
I especially enjoyed learning about Revere's skills and successes as a businessman and craftsman. I would have liked to read more about his family relationships (wives and children), but I suppose that just wasn't the focus of this book.
Included are a chapter about Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, "Paul Revere's Ride" and a comparison of it with the actual event, a time line of Paul Revere's life (and beyond), and an overview of historic sites to visit in and around Boston.
