Has anyone else read this "Photographic History of the Winter Olympics"? As always in a book published by National Geographic, great photographs are used throughout the book, but I also found the text to be written in a very compelling manner. I appreciated the fact that Macy did not shy away from some of the more controversial stories of the Winter Olympics; the Kerrigan/Harding fiasco, for example, is detailed. A good index and a list of resource books and websites -- including the official website of Vancouver 2010 -- round out the book.

I agree. This is a well-written and appropriately illustrated book and deserves our consideration for the Mock Sibert.
